Hunter's Star Studio 6pm-9pm 1/30, 2/6, 2/13
Studio 180 Hunter's Star Class
(Minimum 2 Persons For Class)
Come and learn how to use the Studio 180 Design Hunter Star Tool designed by Deb Tucker and taught by Brian The Redneck Quilter, who is also a Studio 180 Design Certified Instructor!
In this class series, it is set up so that you can decide what Hunter Star type of project you want to work on. This can be a tablerunner, a wall hanging or up to a king size quilt.
Unless you will be using a previously written pattern that provides the fabric requirements, it's difficult to pre-determine how much you will need without guessing, because there are 3 main variables that can impact exactly how much fabric you'll need:
1) Number of Fabrics - Minimum of 2 (light & dark). Or 3, 4, 8, or scrappy
2) Size of Blocks - With the Petite Star - you can make 5", 6", 7" or 8" blocks. With the Large Star, you can make 7", 8", 9" or 10" blocks.
3) Size of Project Desired - Tablerunner, Wall Hanging, or Quilt
Please feel free to consult with Brian in advance of class to discuss and plan for your fabric needs. And as an alternative, be ready to simply 'design on the fly'!
