Learn to Quilt Your Tops
Beginner Free Motion Quilting is a class designed to help you learn the fundamentals of machine quilting with your domestic machine. So that in the future, you can finish your very own pieced projects.
In this class, you'll need to know how to drop your feed-dogs on your machine. You'll also need a free motion quilting foot with a spring. One might be included with your machine. Or we have some generic ones available for sale at the shop.
Bring a fat quarter-sized project (about 18"x21") to quilt on, with contrasting colored thread. 'Sandwhich' a scrap piece of batting in between the 2 layers of fabric.
For those of you staying for the afternoon Binding 101 Class, we'll use what you quilt in this class to put your binding on.
